India Rivers

In this report I will be talking about about the rivers in India. The rivers in India that I’m talking about are the Brahmaputra, Ganges, and Indus River. I’m going to be talking about what they’re used for. The subjects I’m going to be talking about involving the rivers are farming, religion, and trading and transportation. I am also going to be talking about which rivers are used for what.
India uses the rivers for farming. The rivers that are used for farming are the Brahmaputra, Ganges, and Indus. The rivers start from the Himalayan Mountains and as they go down they get sediments and the water goes on the farmland and making the farmland fertile for farming. The people in India don’t use irrigating systems they rely on monsoons. The Brahamaputra River floods between June and October. The Ganges River floods between June and October. Just like the Brahamaputra and Ganges river floods between June and October.
The rivers are also used for religion. The people used the Ganges River for religious ceremony. I don’t know if other rivers are used for religious. The people in India use the Ganges River to bathe in it and wash away their sin. They also throw away the ashes of people who deceased (cremation) in the river that way the person’s soul can rest in peace.
The rivers were finally used for trade and transportation. The people in India use the rivers for transportation. They used canoe like boats to travel. They also used the rivers for trade. They also use canoe like boats to trade.
They are used for farming, religion, and trade and transportation. Those are the rivers in India. That is what the rivers are used for. Finally that is my report.
